JESUS is the ROAD to SALVATION

Have you ever been unsure of which road to take?  We often waste time and energy because we take the wrong road.  The greatest tragedy in life would be to miss eternal life because you chose the wrong road.

Jesus spoke of a wide road and a narrow road (Matthew 7).  The wide road leads to destruction in hell — many people are on that road.  However, only a few people are traveling the narrow road that leads to eternal life in heaven.

As Jesus instructed, each person must choose the road he or she will take because “all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” (Romans 3:23)  All people begin on the wide road — eternal death in hell awaits all that remain on this wide road. (Romans 6:23)

Because He loves us, God made a way for us to go to heaven “… while...  still sinners, Christ died for us.” (Romans 5:8)  Jesus said, “I am the way.”  (John 14:6)  Jesus is the road to salvation.

You have a choice—the wide road to destruction or the narrow road to salvation.  The Bible tells us to take the narrow road:  “If you confess with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord’ and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved…Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” (Romans 10:9-10, 13)

If you will believe Jesus now, tell God that you admit that you are a sinner; repent of your sins, and accept Jesus now.  Then, at the first opportunity you have, confess Him as Lord publicly.  Pray, study the Bible, tell another Christian of your experience, become a member of a church where you can mature spiritually and be baptized.
